But I think these were the least money online than other similar products. But if you really want to protect your trailer, what other choice do you have, that doesn't make a 5 thousand trailer look cheesy? Bed liner strips and old snowmobile tracks look like crap. So if you spend 5 grand on a nice 12 foot two place trailer, are you really not going to spend an extra $[...] bucks for these? I didn't want to spend that much, but like I said what other choice do you have? And these are the cheapest best quality for the money.

Measure carefully or you will end up half done and waiting on another shipment.

These are the best boat covers available. They are suitable for storage/mooring as well as trailering.
The cover is made from marine grade polyester. The cover is made from 7.8 oz/600d/600 denier solution dyed polyester. 'Solution died' simply means that the thread is dyed before it is woven into the material, as opposed to the fabric being woven or produced, then dyed. This process allows for better penetration of the dye, and better colorfastness. This makes the cover very resistant to fading.600d is an indirect measurement of density and weight. The higher the number, the heavier, thicker, and heavier duty. This is the thickest cover you will find. You will see a lot of 300d, even 150d covers, which are proportionally half as thick and 1/4 as thick as our covers.

The fabric is then coated twice with polyurethane on the bottom or downside, UV protected, and mildew protected.What this all adds up to is the best cover available. It is nearly twice as thick as what you see readily available commercially. It is designed to keep water out, as it is WATERPROOF. Yet, water vapor can permeate it, so it will keep moisture out, but will not keep moisture in!

Our covers come with tie down/hold down straps, as well as a storage bag. For certain applications, such as higher speed trailering, you may need to add extra straps. The material is heavy duty enough to support any reasonably paced trailering.
This particular unit will fit a pontoon or deck boat with deck or playpen area between 17 ft and 20 ft. The length of the pontoons is not important. Rather, the length of the deck or 'playpen' area and the width of the deck or 'playpen'area. It will accomodate up to a 96" beam, which is very standard for pontoon boats of this length.

The light is bright enough to be seen even in dense fog. One will not be missed when thins light is on, that's for sure.
One thing that I did not like and or enjoy was the discription, it is a bit on the decptive side you only get one light, I was led to believe the I was going to get two lights a set, as the pic shows.

(More customer reviews)This is, without a doubt, the easiest bike rack to load/unload bikes.It is also more reasonably priced than the other brands. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't perfectly fit longer wheel-base bikes. We have Electra Townies, and they have a longer than normal wheel base because of the forward pedaling technology (which is awesome, by the way.) The bike shop guy put the rack's rear wheel 'wells' on backwards to accommodate the longer wheel base. That worked fine in my opinion, even though the rear wheels did not sit flat in the wells. We drove our bikes from MI to FL with no problems whatsoever. However, my husband was never comfortable with the wheels not fitting completely in the wells, so we got the Thule DoubleTrack last summer. It is more cumbersome to mount the bikes on the Thule rack, but they fit more secure in DH opinion. And the Thule has additional security features (for an additional cost, of course), so in that regard it's better. But all in all, I really miss the ease the Saris :( but I can 'visit' it down the street at my sister-in-law's house! If you have normal wheel-base bikes, this Saris is by far the easiest bike rack to use.

(More customer reviews)A handy small all metal grease gun. Good for shop tools, light duty home use. Fits zerk fittings tightly. Small size prevents getting high pressure as with a larger or full size and stroke gun. User must have good grip strength and squeeze very hard. Just right size for what I wanted/needed. Gun is available with other grades of lubricant if you search. I used this brand of grease and was looking for it (not the gun) by brand name.

As with all grease guns (this is not my first) it is a bit hard to prime when new. This is a one time effort and to be expected.

Shipping seems to be scattered amoung sevral off topic distribution sources but was no problem, several days.

(More customer reviews)I have been a Saris owner for four seasons and I'm contacting Saris to convert my 2 bike Thelma (1 1/4" mount) into a 3 bike to allow me to take my wife's mtb on trips along with my road and mtb.I was scanning the web to see if people are happy with their 3 bike Thelma and came across the previous review for a Thelma 2.

The assembly is pretty simple and the durability over four years driving several times to California from Colorado to ride in Markleeville and Mount Shasta rides has only surpassed by the exceptional customer service from the folks in Wisconsin.The rack is used nearly daily beginning in mud season until autumn here in the Rockies.Hitch mounted racks tend to get road water spray but are virtually immune to flying rocks to friend's carbon fiber frame bikes and to inadvertent & abrupt premature removal of bikes from the vehicle once the garage door has opened but one has forgotten the bikes above the field of vision (friends).

Now for the customer service.Before the '08 election we drove from Steamboat Springs to Taos to ride in the Enchanted Circle ride.Our rack was wrecked when someone backed into our vehicle, crushing the rack and left the scene when the bikes were in the hotel room at the base area of Taos (I believe to be politically motivated due to an Obama bumper sticker).The people at Saris sent me parts to repair it at minimal charge, shipping and delay.

My only trivial gripe is that the racket straps are too short for a friends mtb with deeper rim wheels (just use bungee cords for his bike wheels).

'10 +' on ease, use, durability of a nonframe bike mounted hitch rack and of course, the customer service.

I needed to finish the assembly, but without the manual it seemed daunting. But being driven to get out and ride, I managed to complete the assembly (as you will need to do). I wrote to the sellers requesting a manual and replacement of the missing and/or broken parts. I received a response promising that all would be sent right away. The expected package arrived and I thought everything would be fine. Not so! The package contained none of the items I needed, especially, not the Owners Manual I desperately wanted. Perhaps the most major issue of all is that when I try to move the bike and hopefully ride, the rear wheel won't move and the pedals don't budge! Stay away, spend more, because I guess it's true -- You Get What You PAY For!

Sturdy fabric, great stitching, VERY reflective. I've been looking for a flag to match all the neon green on my bike and this fit the bill perfectly. The flag mount is a standard axle mount, so don't expect anything earth shattering there. This is soooo much better than the standard orange safety flags! Allen Deluxe 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack for Vehicles with Rear Mounted Spare Tire (2-Inch Receiver) Review

(More customer reviews)I was very disappointed to find that this rack does not work with side hinged rear doors. It only works with hatch style rear doors. No where on the packaging or in the manual is this mentioned. I quickly put the rack together (very easy to do so) and was quite pleased at how solid it was. I then put it on my 2006 Hummer H3. So far, so good. Then, I went to test the mechanism that allows the rack to fold down so the rear door can be opened. I folded it down, but was stunned to find that my rear door only opened about 5 inches before hitting the bottom area of the rack (yes--even with the rack folded down). Surely, I thought, I must have installed it incorrectly. But, I hadn't. I then called Allen, and spoke to someone there who very readily admitted that the fold-down mechanism does not function well with side hinged rear doors. Oddly, he wouldn't admit that the rack is useless for such vehicles because "technically, the rack still works--you can put bikes on it". He suggested that I carry around a pair of 3/4 inch closed wrenches, and "simply take the rack completely off when the rear door needs to be accessed". I thought he was kidding, but he wasn't. Of course, this is not a viable solution. Oddly enough, the folks at Allen decided to use an image of a vehicle with a side hinged rear door on the box. You can actually just look at that picture and see that the rack would not work with that vehicle.

I would have given this product one star, but added a star to reflect its strength and the ease at of putting it together.

In 1967, after a few years of working on the aerospace technology for the Apollo missions, Dick Allen was out of a job. Government cutbacks led Allen, a Harvard-trained physicist, to transform his garage hobby into a new industry. I used it on a 16 ft flatbed trailer to replace a pedestal style jack so I would not need to back the hitch under the tongue for connection. Super Bow Roller Review

(More customer reviews)When I received this product, it was not what I expected. The diameter of the roller is about 4 to 5". It's twice the size of my factory (stock) roller. Ok, no big deal...should work fine and it cradled the boat nicely except:
After one trip to the lake (about 5 miles), I unloaded the boat only to find that the roller has flat areas on it now. It's as if the hull of my boat was like sand paper. This roller is not going to last. Obviously the material is not rubber-like. It must be made of a soft plastic that is susceptible to wear.
Don't buy it. Consider buying a roller that is more durable and rubbery.

(More customer reviews)I bought the Thelma 2 bike carrier last week and took two bikes 650 miles and back over the weekend.

Pros: Very light and easy to use. Easy to assemble. Unlike carriers that strap the top tube, the wheels will not rotate into the vehicle or each other. Loading or unloading bikes is quick and easy.

Cons: The threaded hitch pin is good for keeping the carrier tight in the receiver with no motion, but a hassle to take off/put on, and does not lock. Saris sells a locking, threaded hitch pin separately. You could probably use a standard locking hitch pin, but that would allow the carrier to move a little in the receiver. Would be nice if the carrier had a hole or loop somewhere that a cable lock could attach to in order to secure the carrier to the receiver.

Now the dealbreaker. I assume that on a taller van or SUV, the vehicle would shield the bikes from the wind. But on a car, the bikes are exposed. I was very uncomfortable with the resulting motion of the bikes at highway speeds. I checked the straps and carrier several times and everything seemed to be fine, and I kept telling myself that this is what the carrier is designed for and it's probably normal. But after we got home, took the bikes off, and folded the front wheel holders down to stow them, I noticed that they had been bent backwards some, perhaps an inch at the ends, and no longer lined up with the rear wheel holders. I am taking this back to the bike shop where I got it and upgrading to the Saris Cycle On.

This carrier is probably great for around town use, or behind a van or SUV, but I would not recommend it for long trips on a car.

The boat is garaged keep when not in use. The jack and swivel plate is rusted making it very difficult to crank the wheel down and maneuver the boat. I'm now looking for another brand. I feel it should have lasted much longer than it did.

This product, however, I only tried to wear and wore twice. It is well made, and if you need that support, you definatly should consider buying it. In my case, I made more use of the hip brace (the V2 supporting part is detachable, which is great!), so for me, I could have simply used the regular hip brace. But even the hip brace part I used only several times. It offered good support, and was easy to adjust.
So again, for those who think might need that support, it is a well made, adjustable product!

(More customer reviews)We love this bike trailer.It is very stable and is easy to connect and disconnect (a concern of mine as I like riding by myself too).My daughter who is 6 and has Down Syndrome, LOVES riding it and wants to go on bike rides all the time now.She doesn't have the muscle tone to ride independently, and this was a great alternative to a bike stroller (which is not very age appropriate).It did take some bribing to make her try it, but now she loves it.

The only bad thing - it arrived damaged from Fed Ex, as a result, I believe of poor packaging from the manufacturer. When I contacted them for replacement parts, they said I had to contact the dealer, that they couldn't help me and even reprimanded me for buying online (they don't have a local dealer near me).The only option with Amazon was to return the entire thing - Luckily, the seller was helpful enough to locate and send me replacement parts (the handlebar and the seat tube).

The only reason I give it four stars (rather than five) is because I think the sizing recommendations are off. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant, weigh 135 pounds at 5'6", and am wearing the size small belt. It fits, but I'm wearing it on the largest setting and still have indentations on my stomach when I take it off. I can't imagine that it would comfortably fit someone at the high end of the recommended weight range (136 - 180 lbs). I definitely recommend the product, but would suggest sizing up if you're not at the low end of a weight range.

1) Get your own mounting screws, the stuff that comes with it is junk
2) I ended up putting up 1x4 supports and mounting everything to those.I didn't put the middle support in, and it doesn't seem to matter.
3) My ceiling is is just over 10' tall, and this only comes down to about eye-level for me (I'm 6' tall).It's enough for me, but you might consider getting a longer rope.

My only complaint is that sometimes the lock can be difficult to place back on the pin.I'm also concerned that some of the sharp edges on the pin end could cut the o-ring in the lock

I would recommend this for someone who is going to leave it on their truck and is looking to avoid the rust that you get with most hitch pins once they are exposed to salt water.

(More customer reviews)I bought this 'trailer' to haul the extra cargo for a week at the beach.It worked perfectly and I liked the fold up position for traveling without cargo which made the trailer safer for me, and everyone else on the road.It was a pain having to pull the pin every time to access the trunk, since I was traveling around town with it in the up position.Maybe Valley could redesign it a bit to make that easier like my bike rack.

From another review I read before purchasing, the side sections don't seem as sturdy as they should be to support the weight listed, but it did haul everything I needed.I liked the bar design which made tying down a tarp over my goodies easy.

After getting home, I did notice a few spots of rusted steel on the carrier, so not the best paint on it from the manufacturer.Easily taken care of with a wire brush and rust-proof spray paint.

Yesterday I loaded it with 4 bikes as usual (2 adults and 2 kid bikes) and after about a block since leaving my hose, we heard a big "thud" and a horrible noise. Stopped to check and "Lo and behold" the base had broken, the 4 bikes fell and I dragged them for a few feet before stopping. Luckily, this happened at about 10 miles per hour and not in the highway where I was headed. It could have caused a major accident. I forgot the name of the company that makes them otherwise I'd sue them for the inherent risk. I had used it without problem until now. This was while using the 2 inch adapter... If you already have this transporter be very careful and never load 4 bikes!!

Just rolled it in to hold the bike up-right while I worked on cleaning the whole bike taking parts off and putting them back on, never having to use tie-downs to help secure it. I will be using it this summer to support the bike when I haul it up to Laguna Seca knowing I will not have to worry about the bike tipping over while in the 5th wheel trailer as last year I used my son-in-laws condor and was sold on the quality and ease of use. I would definitely recommend the Condor as the stand to have.

Do a google search on Carlisle tires and you will find that there are a lot of instances of these tires blowing out and damaging boat trailers, motorhomes, etc.I had one tire blow and then after it was fixed the other blew 2 miles down the road.They left my family stranded on the side of the road for hours.Carlisle offered me a new set and I declined.Why would I want something that will eventually fail again???These are terrible tires.Buy at your own risk.

They feel very sturdy, appear to be very well made, and I couldn't be more pleased. The price with free shipping is unbeatable. I'm 6' tall and weigh between 180 and 190 and they are very comfortable even when staying on the water for 6-8 hours. Unlike the stock solid backed seats, the small holes in the back of these seats allow a breeze to blow through and keep you much cooler on hot days.
